Marie Legendre

Viola

pp29.jpg

A complete musician, Marie Legendre approaches all repertoires during her studies, with Serge Collot, Louis Merlet, Gilles Colliard among others, before developing a particular interest in the interpretation of classical and romantic music on period instruments, exploring the emblematic composers of these periods, as well as those unknown.

With this in mind, she joined the Cercle de l'Harmonie in 2007, under the direction of Jérémie Rhorer.

At the same time, remaining attached to the baroque repertoire, she joined Nathalie Stutzmann's "Orfeo 55" ensemble, with whom she recorded two albums, around the works of Vivaldi and Bach for the Deutsche Grammophon label and participated in numerous European tours.

His orchestral experiences (Orchestre de Pau, Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre national de Bretagne...) allow him to stay in touch with traditional orchestral practice and explore more modern, even contemporary repertoires.

Her eclecticism has led her to collaborate on independent rock albums, including "Down to the bone" with Sylvain Chauveau, ffff télérama and a European tour.

Marie Legendre performed alongside Renaud Capuçon in his Bel Air festival in 2007, 2008 and 2009 as well as with Geneviève Laurenceau at the Obernai Music Festival.

Since 2009, she has been creating and organizing the "A la pointe" chamber music festival on the island of Groix, in collaboration with Julien Chauvin.
