An eclectic artist, Hugues Borsarello is a soloist, chamber musician, concertmaster of the Volta Quartet, music director and concertmaster of La Follia orchestre de chambre d'Alsace, artistic advisor and concertmaster of the Orchestre des concerts Lamoureux.

After his studies at the CNSMD in Paris, he entered the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra at the age of 20 as a supersoloist. He continued this orchestral experience for ten years before deciding to devote himself more fully to his projects. They took him to perform in various festivals such as "la folle journée" in Nantes, the Périgord Noir festival... as well as abroad, Barbican in London, NCPA in Bombay, Kioi Hall in Tokyo... All these experiences allowed him to share the stage with François-René Duchâble, Gérard Caussé, Gautier Capuçon, Alexander Markov...

He designs and produces his sound recording and reproduction equipment. The "La Grande Castine" speaker (awarded best listening at the Munich 2011 show by StereoTimes) is among other things the result of this development work. In 2012, he is carrying out an experiment with the music acoustics laboratory of the Pierre and Marie Curie University (Sorbonne Universities) with the aim of understanding the projection of violins and modern instruments in sonata and concerto with orchestra conditions.
